Obituary of Joseph J. Gallant

GALLANT-the death of Joseph J. Gallant of 23 Roxbury Drive occurred a t the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 8, 2008. Mr. Gallant was born in Saint John, a son of Nellie (Thomas) Gallant and the late Howard Gallant. He had been employed at various local gas-stations. He was predeceased by a daughter, Crystal Gallant. Besides his mother he is survived by four sons, Joseph, Anthony, Sean, and Randy, all of Saint John; and two daughters, Samantha and Lisa Gallant, both of Saint John; three brothers, Mark (Mary) Thomas, Stephen Thomas, and Edward Thomas, all of Saint John; seven sisters, Mary Arsenault (David) of P.E.I., Joanne Buckley (Ron) of Saint John, Judy Mason (Terry) of Saint John, Nancy Adams (Mike) of Saint John, Susan Thomas (Tony Israel) of Saint John, Wanada Thomas of Saint John, and Janet Thomas (John Constantino) of New Mexico; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Service will be held in Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Saturday morning at 9:30. Following cremation interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
