Obituary of Everett J. Nicol

The death of Everett John Nicol of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, occurred on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a brief illness. Born at Woodman's Point, NB, eighty years ago on April 28, 1930, he was a son of the late David and Margaret (Speight) Nicol. Everett who was a long time resident of Grand Bay-Westfield, was employed with the Canadian Pacific Railway for forty-one years before his retirement. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and at his camp. Everett will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Survived by his brothers, George Nicol (Doreen) and Ronald Nicol, both of Public Landing, NB, his nephews; Douglas(Pauline) of Woodman's Point, NB, David (Heather) of Hampton, NB and Mark Nicol of Grand Bay-Westfield, as well as several great-nephews and nieces and their children. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, 634-7425 with visiting on Sunday from 2- 4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM from Bay View Chapel. Interment to take place in St. Peter's Cemetery, Woodman's Point. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
