Obituary of Robina Logan Cormack

The death of Ruby Cormack, wife of the late David Cormack, occurred on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. She was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on September 5, 1910 to the George and Mary Ann (Jones) Patterson. Ruby and her late husband David (2001) and late son Robert (2007) came to Canada from Scotland in 1952. She was a devoted wife and mother, her life was dedicated to her family. Ruby was a long time member of the Lancaster Diamonds Seniors Association. Â She is survived by her daughter in-law, Jean Cormack of Saint John; granddaughters, Heather Acker of Saint John and Cathy (Pat) Lee of New Glasgow, NS; three great grandchildren: Jeffery and Jason Lee and Jessica Acker. She was predeceased by her sister, Jean Gilmour. Â Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425). A private graveside service will be held in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
