Obituary of Ronald Joseph Murphy

MURPHY, Ronald Joseph, of Brown's Flat, husband of the late Edna Pearl Murphy, passed away June, 16, 2010, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Central Greenwich, on, September 21, 1924 he was the son of the late Edward and Edith Murphy. Ronald was a carpenter by trade, and enjoyed it his whole career. Ronald is survived by his son, Gary (Pixie), Brown's Flat; daughter, Rhonda (Frank) Murphy, Alberta; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; Sisters Leona (the late Alex) Arseneau, Saint John; Etta (the late George) Hector, Grand Bay. Besides his parents and wife he was predeceased by his sister, Gertrude (the late Aubrey) Mckinney. No visitation by request. Family graveside service will take place in Brown's Flat at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461, Manawagonish Road, Saint John-West. Donations in Ronald's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
