Obituary of Katherine Snell

SNELL, KATHERINE "PRUDENCE"- The death of Katherine "Prudence" Snell, of Grand Bay- Westfield, NB, wife of the late Harry Snell, occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital on Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Prudence was born in Saint John, on November 29, 1928, the daughter of the late Byron and Bessie (Buchanan) Greer. She is survived by her sons, Eric (Linda) Snell of Moncton, NB, and Brian (Mary) Snell of Rowley, NB; daughters, Wanda Burgess of Saint John, NB, and Krista London of Saint John, NB; two brothers, Robert (Donna) Greer of Saint John, NB, and Wayne (Sheila) Greer of Saint John, NB; one sister, Ethnee Booker of Morrisdale, NB; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several nephews & nieces. Besides her parents and husband she is predeceased by her brother, John; and her three sisters, Jane, Bessie and Hilda. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, (634-7425) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2009, at 11:00 AM from Brenan's Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery in the spring.
