Obituary of Isabelle Margaret McKay

McKay, Isabelle Margaret … With her family by her side, Isabelle Margaret McKay, formerly of Maces Bay, NB, wife of the late Arthur McKay, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB. Born in Maces Bay on April 14, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Carrie (Small) Mawhinney. Isabelle was a Registered Nursing Assistant. She is survived by her daughter, Caryle (Ron) Hawley of Burlington, ON; two grandchildren, Terry (Susan) Hawley of Calgary, AB and Kevin (Carlene) Hawley of Elmira, ON; six great-grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah, Luke, Samuel, Sabrina and Alisha; two sisters-in-law, Edna Mawhinney of Maces Bay and Goldie Mawhinney of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Malcolm, Ellis, George and Harold. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 from 7-9 pm and on Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service held from Bay View Chapel at 11:30 am. Interment will be in Maces Bay Community Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Passamaquoddy Lodge Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
