Obituary of Sylvia Irene Waddell

Waddell, Sylvia Irene- The death of Sylvia Waddell, wife of the late Reginald Waddell, of Saint John, West, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, September 22, 2008. She was born on October 7, 1926, daughter of the late John and Alice (Logue) Hayes. Sylvia was a member of the Saint John West Liberal Association, St. Rose of Lima Parish and the CWL. She is survived by her daughter Mary (John) Crain, and her son Neil (Crystal), both of Saint John, and her grand-daughters Misty Lynn Crain (Jerry) and Stephanie Lynn Waddell (Jason); and great-grandson, Jerry John Jr. Besides her parents and husband, Sylvia was predeceased by her two brothers and her three sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at Brenan's Bayview Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, West (634-7425), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 10:00 am.
