Obituary of Edmund Alcide Boucher

Boucher, Edmund Alcide … The death of Edmund Alcide Boucher of Saint John West, NB, husband of Colleen Margot (Logue) Boucher, occurred on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, NS on October 13, 1934, he was a son of the late Alcide and Eunice (Forbes) Boucher. Besides his wife he is survived by five sons, Gary (Cindi) of Calgary, AB, Roger (Mary) of Toronto, ON, Ricky (Stephanie), Hughie (Lisa) and Paul (Shannon), all three of Saint John; one daughter, Janet (Shawn) MacDonald of Saint John, son-in-law, Gerald Sweeney: several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a son, Stephen, a daughter, Cathy Sweeney and two brothers, Hughie and Herman. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425. At Edmund's request there will not be any visiting at the funeral home. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from St. Rose of Lima Church, Milford Rd., Saint John West on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 10 am. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Bruce Melanson Scholarship Fund or any charity of choice.
