Obituary of Helen Joann Lingley

Lingley, Helen Joann… The death of Joann Lingley of Clark Rd., Saint John, NB occurred on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on April 10, 1963, she was a daughter of Jessie (Arnott) Lingley of Saint John and the late Harry Lingley. Joann was a graduate of Saint John Vocational School, an Associate Member of the RCL Branch 69 and a member of the Auxiliary, a member of St. Giles United Church, Grand Bay and a member of the St. John Ambulance and the Regional Hospital Bowling League. She was employed as a paper carrier with the Telegraph Journal. Besides her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Thomas R. and Alan J., one sister, Doris E. Frenette (Stephen), all of Saint John, four nieces and three nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Margaret and a brother, Donald "Donnie". Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425, with visiting on Monday, August 18, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A RCL Auxiliary Tribute will be held on Monday at 7 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Bay View Chapel on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 11 am with cremation to follow. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, the Canadian Cancer Society or the IWK would be appreciated by the family.
