Obituary of Marie Celina Vautour

The death of Marie Celina Vautour, wife of the late Marcel J. Vautour, occurred on June 2, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Caraquet, NB, she was the daughter of the late Norbert and Jenevieve Landry. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and was a charter member of the 30 Up Club. Surviving are sons Pascal 'Paul' and his wife Margot of Calgary, Norbert and his wife Pauline of Saint John, grandchildren; Marc, Ben, John, Tina and Matthew, and great-granddaughter Amber Rose Masson. She is also survived by brother Norbert Landry of Caraquet, sisters; Georgina Butler and Arthemise (Pat) Michaud, both of Saint John. She will be missed by her caregivers Charmaine O'Hearn, Rose McAuley, Pam Rushton and Karen Guier. Marie's sister, Rose Anna Jaillet,of Bouctouche, who did survive her, has passed on (June 2, 2008). Her sisters Louisa Mallett and Jean Roudniskye predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 12:00 noon, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
