Obituary of Dorothy Gertrude Hall

The peaceful passing of Dorothy Gertrude Hall of Saint John, NB, wife of Horace Stanley Hall, occurred suddenly at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland on September 16, 1925, she was the daughter of Richard and Ollie Lynette (Moores) Cramm. Dorothy was a graduate of Acadia University in Home Economics and she enjoyed reading, was an accomplished painter and had been involved doing volunteer work in earlier years. She is survived by her husband, Horace of fifty-three years; a daughter, Dr. Jennifer Hall and husband, David Methven of Rothesay, NB; and a son, Richard Hall of Saint John. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425. By Dorothy's request there will not be any visiting or funeral service; a private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or any charity of choice.
