Obituary of Louis Malcolm Sheffroth

The death of Louis Malcolm Sheffroth of Saint John East, NB occurred on Monday, April 14, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on October 5, 1928 he was a son of the late George and Catherine (Small) Sheffroth. Louis was employed with Saint John Shipbuilding for many years prior to his retirement. He was a former member of the Signal Corps and Saint John Shipbuilders Local # 3. He is survived by Dorothy; a son, James of Saint John; a sister, Bernice (Harold) Gallant; grandchildren, Joel and Melody Sheffroth; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Lillian Knox and Phyllis Lester; and a brother, Kenneth. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to any charity of choice.
