Obituary of Brian W. Howald

The unexpected death of Brian Howald, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 25, 2010. He was born on March 26, 1957 at Düsseldorf, Germany to Erma (Snow) Howald and the late George W. Howald. Brian moved to Canada at an early age spent most of his life as a resident of the South End. He worked most of his life for Vet’s Taxi. Besides his mother, Brian leaves behind to mourn, his two daughters: Shawna Hoyt (James Janes) and Tracy Foote (Steve); brother Ray (Rona) Howald; two granddaughters, Madelaine Hoyt and Macey Foote; first wife, Emma Kane; second wife, Helen Smith and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his father and younger brother, Ricky Howald. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Arthritis Society or the I.W.K. would be appreciated by the family.
