Obituary of Charles G.E.J Moore

The death of Charlie Moore husband of Heather (Latta) Moore of Saint John occurred at St. Joseph’s hospital on July 2, 2010. Charlie was born in Saint John the son of the late Charles and Ella (Gogan) Moore and was a life long resident of Saint John. He was educated in local schools and had been employed as a nursing orderly and worked at the Saint John General and St. Joseph's Hospitals, retiring after 30 years. In his youth Charlie served in the militia as a gunner . He was a great union man and he enjoyed T.N.B., cooking and reading. Charlie is survived by his wife and a aunt Edna Parkin. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home , 111 Paradise Row (634-7424). Funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 2 pm from Brenan's Chapel. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Visiting hours 7 to 9 pm on Monday July 5 , 2010. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
