Obituary of George David McLeod

The death of George McLeod of Saint John, NB, husband of Carol (Haynes) McLeod, occurred on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a year long struggle with cancer, he is now at rest. Born in Saint John on May 8, 1943 he was a son of the late Walter and Mildred (Mason) McLeod. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; four children, Jeff (Christa) McLeod; Heather (Steven) Craig; Susan Williams and Scott (Cara) McLeod; nine grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Jared, Zachary, Madison, Ella, Matthew, Ryder and Addie; one brother, Ralph (Ann) McLeod; two sisters, Dawn (Allan) Horsman and Nancy Perkins; sister-in-law, Sheila McLeod; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother, Robert McLeod. In keeping with George's wishes there will be no formal visitation. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 12 noon at Our Lady of the Assumption, 360 Dufferin Row.
