Obituary of Abraham D. Davis

On Tuesday, July 13, 2010 in his 98th year, of blessed memory to his adoring Goldie, wife of 68 brilliant years and his devoted children Philip and Heather, Roslyn and Nordau, Michael and Hyla, and Susan and David. Doting Zadie to Seth, Ben, Leah, Amit and Tracy, Lisa and Kris, Anna and Colin, Liron, Adam, Beth and Tim, Aaron, Barry and exuberant great grandfather to Nathan, Rhea, Cohen, Maya and Samson. A wonderful brother and brother- in-law to the late Rose, the late Sam and the late Gladys, the late Eli and Connie, Issie and the late Ruth. Dedicated son of the late Harry and the late Ida, and son-in-law of the late Hyman and the late Anna Garson. The centre of a large extended and closely knit family, he will be sorely missed by many nephews, nieces and cousins. As the proprietor of the Ideal Stores in Saint John, he was known and respected by the larger community and loved by its Jewish community.
