Obituary of Carl Edward Anderson

The death of Carl E. Anderson, husband of Cora M. (Carlisle) Anderson, occurred at the Kennebec Manor Nursing Home on Thursday, October 28, 2010. He was born on January 9, 1936 at Belleville, NB to the late Banford G. and Pearl B. (Lawson) Anderson. Carl worked for Saint John Shipbuilding for a number of years before his retirement in 1997. He was member of Cupe Local #3. Besides his wife of over 44 years, Cora; Carl is survived by two daughters: Brenda Mowat (Tyson) of Dawson’s Creek, BC and Kristal Cannon (Ron) of Saint John; four sisters: Violet Hickey, Roselle Christie, Inez Scott (Carl) and Doris Narrowmore (Darrell); six grandchildren: Juilet Moyer, Alexander and Spencer Mowat, Joshua, Jacob and Chantal Cannon and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7- 9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 9:30 AM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
