Obituary of Edith Anne Waye

Waye, Edith Anne – Following a courageous battle with ALS, the death of Edith Waye, wife of Brian Waye occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on December 1, 2010. She was born on September 12, 1955, at Saint John to Mike Melanson and the late Joy (Patterson) Melanson. Besides her devoted husband Brian, Edith is survived by her two daughters: Christine and Patricia Honeywell; two sisters: Susan Melanson and Barb Doucette; six grandchildren: Dallia, Victor, Jessie, Faith, Nicky and Gwen and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10 AM. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to a Living Memorial in memory of Edith would be appreciated by the family.
