Obituary of Donald V.H. Cuming

Cuming, Donald V.H. - Donald Vernon Haig Cuming died peacefully on October 14th, 2008 after a brief illness. Predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Dorie (Croft) Cuming, parents Helen Mae and Frederick Charles Cuming, and his brothers and sisters. Survived by his daughter Robyn, and one sister-in-law Mabel (Croft) Hill. He was a member of the Phi Sigma Pi, the National Honors Fraternity (Education), and the Canadian College of Teachers, as well as the Saint John Art Club, and Kennebecasis Branch # 58, Royal Canadian Legion and the Masonic Lodge, and the K. V. Seniors. Visiting at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Rothesay, N.B., from 10:00 - 11:00a.m., Saturday, October 25th, 2008 with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment the same day in the Miramichi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF). Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, N.B.
