Obituary of Margaret S. Hughes

Hughes, Margaret S. … The death of Margaret S. Hughes of Summerville, NB, wife of the late Edward Hughes, occurred after a brief illness, on Monday, July 14, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Halifax on August 10, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Florence (Morash) Evans. Margaret will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kathy (Robert) Curran of Summerville; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Christopher; several cousins in Montreal and two nephews, Dwight Hughes and James McAllister. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. A Memorial Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 1 pm with visiting one hour before the service. Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to Romero House or Local Food Banks.
