Obituary of Margaret Dillon

Dillon, Margaret The death of Margaret Dillon, wife of the late John Dillon, occurred on June 27, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on Prince Edward Island she was the daughter of the late James and Diana (Malone) McGonnell. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Parish and was a member of the CWL. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family and was predeceased by brothers John, Thomas, James, Leo and Peter and sisters Elizabeth, Katherine, Martina and Sarah. She is survived by her good friend Mary Nielsen and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, at 12:00 NOON, from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Animal Rescue League, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
