Obituary of Winfield Vincent Brown

Winfield Vincent (Dick) Brown of Central Greenwich, husband of I. Doreen Brewer, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Gagetown, New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Theodore and Mildred Brown. In addition to Doreen, Dick is survived by three sons, Jonathan Brown (Louise) of Saint John, Vincent Brown of Central Greenwich, and James Brown (Alison) of Saint John; a daughter, Tanya Clark of Saint John; grandchildren Brandon Clark of Alberta, Samantha Brown and Kristen Brown of Scotch Settlement, Alyssa Brown and Isabelle of Saint John; a brother, Glenn Brown of Ontario; sisters Lillian Titus of Saint John, Arvilla Matchell of Moncton, Myrtle Brown of Moncton, and Betty Mitchell of Ontario; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dick was predeceased by a son, Richard; a grandson, Michael; brothers Ronald and Gerald; and a sister, Amy Woods. Although there will be no visitation time, relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service which will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
