Obituary of Leo Joseph McGuckin

The death of Leo Joseph McGuckin of Saint John, NB occurred on Monday, April 14, 2008 at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home. Born in Verdun, QC on January 10, 1929 he was a son of the late Edward Patrick and Elizabeth (Savage) McGuckin. Leo was a Brother with the Franciscan Order and spent 5 years in Corpus Christie. Survived by his sister, June Lawlor of Point Claire, QC. Predeceased by three brothers, Gerard, Austin and John. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from St. Pius Church, Summerset St., Saint John on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 9 am. Remembrances may be made to any charity of choice.
