Obituary of Hannah Jane Maund

The death of Hannah Jane Maund of Saint John, wife of Robert H. Maund, occurred on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born at Llanfairfechan, Wales, she was a daughter of the late Catherine and Alan Jones. Hannah was a Red Cross Nurse during World War II, and immigrated to Canada in 1957, living in Montreal until 1969, at which time they moved with their family to Saint John. In addition to her husband, Hannah is survived by a son, Alan (Al) Maund of Saint John; a daughter, Susan Rowe of Saint John; a sister, Violet Hill of Llandudno, Wales; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In keeping with Hannah’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be observed at this time. The arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
