Obituary of Edward Kenneth Bogle

Bogle, Edward Kenneth … The sudden death of Edward Bogle, of Newman Street, Saint John, occurred at his residence on Friday, July 18, 2008. He was born in Saint John, on March 7, 1947 to the late Kenneth and Barbara (O’Neill) Bogle. Edward worked at P.F.P. as an estimator until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and member of the Westfield Golf and Country Club, winning the club’s Masters Tournament in 1995. Edward also enjoyed playing pool at Dooley’s in Grand Bay, coaching minor hockey and little league baseball in the north end. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Bogle (Doris) of Ottawa, ON; one daughter, Tricia Logan (Peter) of Quispamsis, NB; one brother, William Bogle (Peggy) of Quispamsis, NB; two grandchildren, Leah and Max Logan; one nephew, Alexander Bogle and one niece, Katherine Bogle. At Edward’s request there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside service will be held in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John Youth Minor Hockey Association.
