Obituary of Allison Josephine McMillan

The death of Allison Josephine (Joey) McMillan of Saint John, wife of the late John D. McMillan, occurred on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Quispamsis, she was a daughter of the late George and Ada (Johnson) McAfee. Joey was formerly employed with the New Brunswick Telephone Company, Limited, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Joey is survived by a brother, George McAfee (Valerie) of Quispamsis; a sister, Ann Hargrove (George) of Sussex; and several nieces and nephews. Joey was predeceased by two sisters, Lois Stafford and Jean Wiggins. In keeping with Joey’s wishes, all funeral services will be private. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
