Obituary of Marjorie Louise Phillips
Marjorie Louise Phillips wife of the late R.O. Jerry Phillips Sr. passed away on November 4, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on July 21, 1924 she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Ozelda (Norton) Pountney.
Surviving are her daughters, Louise MacVicar, Saint John; Judy (John) McKinley, Grand Bay; daughter-in-law, Barbara Phillips, Grand Bay; brother, David (Gloria) Pountney, Westfield; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Keith and Joanne Murphy.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, R.O. Jerry Phillips Jr.; son-in-law, Robert MacVicar; brother, John Pountney; sister, Marion Wills.
Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Bay View Chapel on Friday, November 08, 2013 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
